The Department of Critical Care Medicine at Dr. D. Y. Patil Medical College, Hospital & Research Centre, Pune is one of the few academic departments of its kind in the Country.

The department runs a closed ICU with support from Multidisciplinary team from all the academic depts. The department is one of the few academic institutes with simulator based learning in mechanical ventilation, hemodynamic monitoring ACLS
