Instructions for scientific presentation

GUIDELINES FOR PAPER PRESENTATION

  1. 1.The presenter needs to submit the final presentation in microsoft powerpoint converted to pdf (Maximum size 20 MB)
  2. 2.The microsoft powerpoint ppt (in pdf format) should be named as (Paper ID) (name of the presenter) and submitted on following email address scientific.pathology@dpu.edu.in.
  3. 3.The presenter is requested to submit the final presentation preferably within 8 days of receipt of acceptance mail.
  4. 4.Paper -Original Research
  5. 5.Format –Microsoft PowerPoint presentation
  6. 6.No of slides-10-12
  7. 7.Headings:
    • Category- Histopathology, autopsy pathology/ Cytopathology/ Hematology, transfusion medicine, clinical pathology
    • Title
    • Name of authors (with presenting author name underlined) followed by name of institute
    • Introduction
    • Material and Methods
    • Results
    • Discussion
    • Conclusion/Take home message
    • References- Maximum up to 10
  8. 8.Time limit- 7 minutes (5 minutes for presentation + 2 minutes for question answer)
  9. 9.Font style- Times New Roman
  10. 10.Font size- 32 for Heading and 24 for Text

GUIDELINES FOR POSTER - CASE REPORTS/ CASE SERIES:

General Instructions:

  1. 1.The presenter needs to submit the final presentation in two formats; i)E poster template (for display) and ii) Microsoft PowerPoint (for presentation); both to be converted and submitted in pdf format only; max. size up to 20MB
  2. 2.Both, the E-poster template and Microsoft powerpoint ppt (both in pdf format) should be named as (poster id) (Name of the presenter)
  3. 3.The presentation and template should be sent on following email id: scientific.pathology@dpu.edu.in
  4. 4.The presenter is requested to submit the final presentation within 8 days of receipt of acceptance mail.

Format of PowerPoint Presentation:

  1. 1.Make Microsoft PowerPoint presentation in Times New Roman and heading font size->/=32 ; text font size->/=24
  2. 2.Maximum number of slides- 5
  3. 3.Headings-
    • Category (histopathology and autopsy pathology/Cytopathology/hematology, blood transfusion, clinical pathology)
    • Title
    • Name of authors with presenting author (Presenter name should be underlined followed by name of institution)
    • Introduction
    • Case report/ case series
    • Discussion
    • Conclusion
  4. 4.References (Maximum up to 5)
  5. Time limit- 5 minutes ( 3 minutes presentation and 2 minutes questions and answers)
