It is with great enthusiasm that I extend my warmest welcome to all the participants for the upcoming “Mid Year CME in Pathology 2024” hosted by Department of Pathology under the aegis of Maharashtra Chapter of Association of Pathologists (MC-IAPM), Dr. D. Y. Patil Medical College Hospital and Research Centre, Pune from 31st May to 1st June 2024.

The theme of the CME is “Under my scope: From basic to recent”. As updated knowledge of pathology is the foundation of all the clinical subjects, this CME will give prestigious opportunity to learn from experts in the subject. I also believe that this will help in opening avenues for research in applied aspects and recent advances in Pathology. I look forward to the valuable insights and connections that will emerge from the CME. I extend my warm welcome to you all to DYPMC Pimpri, Pune, cultural and educational capital of Maharashtra.

It is privilege and honor to welcome you all for this CME which is organized by Dr. D. Y. Patil Medical College, Hospital, and Research Centre, Pune in collaboration with Association of Pathologists (MC- IAPM).This CME has stalwarts in Pathology as speakers who will elaborate on basics of Pathology but also guide you for recent developments in Pathology. The topics will range from muscle biopsy, nerve biopsy, and intraoperative diagnosis of CNS lesions to digital pathology and artificial intelligence in pathology. All of you will benefit from this CME as it will enhance your knowledge and enlighten you about recent trends in Pathology. The organizing team under the leadership of Dr. Charusheela Gore is working sincerely, so that we all can have a great academic experience in the city of knowledge, Pune. Y. Patil Medical College, Hospital & Research centre, DPU, Pimpri, Pune, Maharashtra. Pimpri Chinchwad and Pune are twin cities which are renowned educational, IT, industrial and cultural hub of Maharashtra with many famous historical monuments. As the Chairperson, I am thrilled to be a part of an event that promises to be a comprehensive exploration of key facets in the field of pathology.

Our CME aims to delve into the diverse realms of histopathology, cytopathology, hematology & immunopathology offering a unique platform for knowledge exchange and professional growth. This year's theme underscores our commitment to cover the entire spectrum of pathology, from foundational principles to the latest advancements.
