About the study: Study Name: Hybrid Trial for Alcohol Reduction Among People with TB and HIV in India (HATHI) Study Details: The HATHI study is a 5-year clinical trial currently ongoing in Pune, Maharashtra, India, for people with Tuberculosis and/or HIV who have alcohol use disorder. This study is funded by the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism, USA, and is being implemented by Johns Hopkins University, USA in collaboration with Dr. D. Y. Patil Medical College, Hospital & Research Centre and Byramjee Jeejeebhoy Medical College and Sassoon General Hospital. The study aims to develop, implement, and evaluate the effectiveness of a hybrid behavioral intervention therapy, which combines Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivation Enhancement Therapy through the use of Motivational Interviewing techniques, for people with TB and/or HIV who also have Alcohol Use Disorder. The study aims for alcohol reduction among people with TB and/or HIV who also have Alcohol Use Disorder for promoting better treatment outcome among them.

Job Description (In short) and qualifications needed:   Qualifications - Postgraduate or PG diploma in Clinical Psychology   Responsibilities: 1.       To do the screening of the participants at the HIV and TB clinics for the study enrollments and administer AUDIT scale. 2.       To establish a rapport with the participants. 3.       To deliver the therapy sessions for alcohol reduction. 4.       To administer the psychological tools for the HATHI study data collection. 5.       To collect study-related information through online portals. 6.       To do the quality control check of the collected data. 7.       To collect and maintain the source documents files as per the study requirement. 8.       To take the study participants for the Psychiatry evaluation and keep the documentation. 9.       To generate the Lab Report Form for the study investigations. 10.   To keep a track of the study investigations and do the review of the lab and radiological investigations from the clinician. 11.   To maintain all the records of the study fidelity. 12.   To do the any other task assigned by the study PI, coordinator, and other colleagues.

Duration of the Study: 05 years

Timeline of Requirement: At the earliest. The position is required for 3 years.

Details: Research Investigator required for research study among TB and COPD active patients. The position requires a willingness to work in clinical settings at Dr. D.Y. Patil Medical College and Hospital and Research Center, YCM hospital and National Tuberculosis Elimination Program (NTEP) designated Tuberculin Units (TU).

Research Investigator will be responsible for:

1. Screening of Tuberculosis and COPD patients at OPD. Enrolling Tuberculosis and COPD on treatment patients in the study using informed consent.
2. Following up enrolled participants at study clinics at months 2, 6 and 12 in Redcap on tablets.
3. Collecting baseline, follow-up and endline data (which includes sociodemographic, clinical history, mental health, indoor air pollution, lung impairment, addiction and etc.)
4. Coordinate with various departments like Respiratory Medicine, Radiology, OBGYN and Laboratories for enrolled participant’s tests.
5. Any other duties or tasks assigned by Study Coordinator and Principal Investigator.

Post: Research Lab technician

Educational Qualification: B. Sc/M.sc Microbiology, B.Sc. DMLT

Years of experience: 2 to 5years work experience in the relevant field, Preference will be given to candidates with work experience in TB, communicable diseases.

Details: Research LAB technician required for research study among TB and COPD active patients. The position requires a willingness to work in clinical settings at Dr. D.Y. Patil Medical College and Hospital and Research Center, YCM hospital and National Tuberculosis Elimination Program (NTEP) designated Tuberculin Units (TU).

Research Lab Technician will be responsible for:

1. Responsible for coordinating with various departments like Respiratory Medicine, Radiology, OBGYN and Laboratories for enrolled participant’s tests.
2. Collection of blood and Sputum samples and prepare aliquots to store at -80⁰C Freezer as per SOE.
3. Maintain -80⁰C Freezer daily QC and AMC related tasks.
4. Access the lung health capacity and conduct spirometry of tuberculosis and COPD patients.
5. LAB related date entry in REDCap on tablets.
6. Maintain patient wise logs for lab tests conducted and coordinate with accounts department.
7. Prepare and submit monthly and follow visit reports for all lab tests to the concerned senior study staff.
8. Maintain Laboratory test stock register.
9. Any other duties assigned by the study coordinator and Principal Investigator.

Post:Account and Admin Officer

Educational Qualification: M. Com/ICWA and MBA

Years of experience: 5 to 10 years’ work experience in the relevant field. Preference will be given to candidates experienced in handling foreign funds, specifically the FCRA account. (Fluent in English – Reading, writing, and speaking)

Details: Account and Admin. Officer required for multiple ongoing research studies at Dr. D. Y. Patil Medical College, Hospital and Research Center in collaboration with Johns Hopkins University, USA.

Account and Admin Officer will be responsible for:

1. Coordination between accounts teams from Dr. D. Y. Patil Medical College and US partners.
2. Coordinate effectively with HR, Account and Purchase departments at Dr. D. Y. Patil Medical College.
3. Regular communication through emails and calls with US partners account and admin team. (MUST BE FLUENT IN ENGLISH)
4. Processing subcontract related documents for all research studies during initial and yearly renewals.
5. Send monthly invoices of all research studies to US partners and track the progress.
6. Track and update foreign funds from US partners to FCRA account and then to respective study accounts.
7. Arrange internal audits of respective study accounts and maintain the documentation.
8. Tally entries and documentation of all daily expenses of all research studies.
9. Monthly salaries, monthly payments of any AMCs and purchase of equipment.
10. Any additional tasks assigned by Director Academic Collaborations and respective study PIs.
