1.Out-patient Services :

Medical Gastroenterology OPD is situated in the second floor of super speciality OPD block room No 17.

OPD timings: Monday to Friday 9AM to 1PM

We offer the following sup-speciality OPD services.

The Department faculty and residents take care of OPD patients after registration in OPD reception. Separate consultation rooms are allotted for consultants and residents.

3. Fibroscan (Vibration controlled transient elastography):
  • 1St to 4th Wednesdays of each month

  • High Resolution Ano-rectal Manometry
  • 24 hour pH metry
  • pH impedance study
  • Bio-feedback therapy for constipation, incontinence
  • Hydrogen and Methane Breath Tests
5. Endoscopy:
  • Advanced Endoscopy Theatre of medical gastroenterology department is situated in the Ground floor, Hi-tech building. It is fully equipped with advanced endoscopic and fluoroscopic gadgets. The following procedures are done in the OT:

6. Inpatient Services :
  • Medical gastroenterology department is equipped with 20 beds (10 beds in male ward and 10 beds in female wards) in the third and fourth floor of Hi-tech building (ward no. 306 & 412). Patients are admitted for evaluation and management of liver disease, portal hypertension, acute and chronic pancreatitis, malabsorption, inflammatory bowel disease, irritable bowel syndrome and GI malignancies. Patients are monitored round the clock by resident doctors and duty nurses.
