  • Department of Microbiology had participated in the Indian Academy of Tropical Parasitology (IATP) External Quality Assurance Scheme (EQAS) for the Microscopy in the year 2023 and scored Grade A.
  • The department of Microbiology participated in the External Quality Assurance Program (EQAS July-2023) for MedicalMycology at Mycology Division, Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research,Chandigarh, (PGI).The department scored 80% with “Good ” performance for the same.
  • Shahzad Mirza, Associate Professor in the Department of Microbiology presented award of appreciation for outstanding and stellar efforts to make the patient safety week a success.
