Extra Curriculum Activities

Department of Anaesthesia, Dr D. Y. Patil Medical College along with ISA PCMC, conducted workshop on COLS (Compression only Life support ) activity for 8th to 10th std. Students at SNBP International school, Rahatani- Pimple saudager on 3rd July 2019. Our PG student Dr Rakesh D.,JR- II had participated in workshop and around 250 students were attended seminar on COLS & Demonstration. All the students have got hands on experience on mannequin.

  • Dr. Anuradha Gupta, Assistant Professor completed the National trekking cum training expedition to Valley of flowers in Aug. 2018 at Uttarakhand organised by Youth Hostels Association of India, Also successfully completed 100 km cycling in the Bhakti Shakti Cyclathon on 26th November 2018 at Nigdi.
  • Dr. Sandip Baheti, Associate Professor written a book in Marathi “Jaga V Jagu Dya” on 4th Dec. 2018, which was based on Nature and Spiritualism.
  • Dr. Sandip Baheti, Associate Professor felicitated by Lions International as “Unsung hero”. This award was given for his fight against antienvironmentist, corruption work in jails and work for poors and as writer.

  • Dr. Smita Joshi, Professor & HOD has participated in the LIVE OPERATIVE WORKSHOP ON LAPAROSCOPIC & ROBOTIC UROLOGICAL SURGERIES “UROLAP PUNE 2019-BASICS TO ROBOTICS on 22nd and 23rd June 2019 at Dr.D.Y.Patil Medical College,Pimpri,Pune along with her anaesthesia team Dr. Aparna Bagle,Dr.Bhavini Shah,lecturers and residents. 19 Major cases were managed successfully.
  • Dr. Chhaya Suryawanshi,Professor has presented Maharashtra State in Cultural events, in group dance at Goa Ima National Woman Doctors Wing Conference - National Evecon – 2019 And Wimals at Span Suites and Villas,Chopdem,Goa on 22nd and 23rd June 2019.
