Department of Orthopaedics

The Dept. of Orthopaedics has 4 OTs, namely;
2 Modular Operative Theatres dedicated to Orthopedics trauma, arthroplasty, spine, soft tissue procedures and deformity corrective surgeries.
One Distinct Sports OT is dedicated to oversee all types of Arthroscopic surgeries with stock Smith and Nephew Arthroscopic Trolley, and with a fully functional radio frequency ablation system and shaver system .
One separate minor O.T. in OPD.
These are state –of-the-art O.T. s with facilities like Synthes Pneumatic drill, battery operated drills, C-arm Image Intensifier control Unit, Maquet OT tables and OT Lamps.
Complete Smith and Nephew Arthroscopic Trolley available, with fully functional radio frequency ablation system and shaver system .
Imported Maquet OT tables and OT lights.
Cadaveric training lab for residents organized in dissection hall.
State of the art Skills lab, with its own Arthroscopy, with both wet and dry scopy of knee and shoulder models. Power drill and interactive mannequins for practical and effective training.
