Department of Ophthalmology organized a “Low Vision and Rehabitation” orientation workshop that was conducted by Dr. Parikshit Gogate Associate Professor Dr D.Y. Patil Medical College and Dr. Sharad Telap Optometrist of Community eye care foundation on 3^rd March 2022 At 2PM. The workshop included lecture, display of Low vision aids instruments and live demonstration of problem faced by visually impaired people in which residents and faculty actively participated and interacted.

The Department of Ophthalmology of Dr. D. Y. Patil Medical College Pimpri Pune had organized Eye Donation Awareness Programme on occasion of 37^th National Eye Donation Fortnight 2022 from 25^th August 2022 to 8^th September 2022 which is celebrated all over the country with the Theme: Let your Eyes Change Someone’s Life, to create awareness among public about eye donation
